Welcome to our School Website

I am delighted to welcome you to Broadacre Primary School’s website. I hope that it will give you an insight into the ethos and aims of our school and the work we do. However, if you require any further information, or would like to visit us, please ring the school admin office to make an appointment.  Our priority is to create a happy and caring learning environment for all our children. Our enthusiastic and highly motivated staff are focussed on implementing a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum and on providing high quality care, guidance and support for all pupils. Many visitors to the school comment upon the happy, caring atmosphere in the school and the children’s excellent manners and behaviour. We are an inclusive school and are proud of all our children. We celebrate everyone’s achievements whether they are academic, sporting or creative. Lisa Staines – Headteacher

Attendance

Attending school every day is so important for your child. To celebrate perfect attendance, every child with perfect attendance in November will be entered into a prize draw with cash prizes, tickets and vouchers to be won.

Our Curriculum Intent

Together with the other schools in Humber Education Trust, we have created an intent for each foundation subject (history, geography, art, design and technology, computing, music, physical education, science).

This intent sets out the knowledge (within the National Curriculum) with which children should leave each year group.

Below are the intent statements for each of the subjects;

Royal Wedding Day

Banner Image

Today, to celebrate the upcoming marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, we held a Royal Wedding Day. Pupils and staff dressed in red, white and blue and completed activities around the theme of the royal wedding. Pupils also made their own sandwiches to go with the party food made by our wonderful catering staff. It was fantastic for the whole school to sit and eat their picnic together in the sunshine, whilst celebrating the big day.
